Baby Shower for CareNet
CareNet provides gifts for new mothers, and keeps our three area baby banks supplied. Consider hosting a baby shower collection at your church, or gather with friends at home and collect diapers, baby clothes, and more for families in need. Contact Beth at brockouski@CarenetDupage.com.
Restore Group Leader
CareNet’s Restore After Abortion program needs volunteers to help bring God’s love to those with an abortion in their past. Whether or not you have experienced abortion yourself, if God has placed this ministry on your heart, we’d love to hear from you. Contact Holly at holly@RestoreAfterAbortion.com.
Are you willing to be the hands and feet of Christ and provide support for a woman who is dealing with the reality of her pregnancy? The Connections program matches a client with a nearby church or ministry group. During her pregnancy, you have the opportunity to provide both practical and spiritual support. At the end of her pregnancy, your group hosts a baby shower. As the contact, you would be the intermediary between CareNet and your group. Contact Nikki at nkuchenbecker@CarenetDupage.com.
Office support helps our Communications team with mailing prep, phone calls, deliveries to churches and more tasks as needed. Contact Beth at brockouski@CarenetDupage.com.
Are you committed to praying for the needs of others? Do you go to God on behalf of other believers? CareNet’s Prayer Partnership is an opportunity to pray for the needs of specific clients. If you are interested in becoming a prayer partner, contact volunteer@CarenetDupage.com to get started.
Our counseling centers cannot be open without a receptionist. At most of our centers volunteers are needed to cover the position. Receptionists greet clients and assist with light office work, but do not respond to client inquiries. Daytime and weekend shifts are open. Contact volunteer@CarenetDupage.com for information.
Our Special Events team volunteers at fundraisers, including the Banquet and the Walk for Life. Contact Tracy at email@example.com for current opportunities.
One the ways that CareNet DuPage pursues fiscal responsibility is by not outsourcing to meet our housekeeping needs. To make that possible, our fabulous Housekeeping volunteers commit to daytime shifts of 1-2 hours, once/month. The housekeeping needs are basic – bathroom, floors, surfaces, kitchen, and sinks – and volunteers can select the tasks they prefer to do. We strive to complete our housekeeping around our client sessions, ensuring a quiet, private atmosphere during appointments. We currently have needs for housekeeping assistance at our Naperville, West Chicago, and Wood Dale locations. If this might be a way for you to participate in the work of CareNet DuPage, we hope you will email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Things need assembling, changing, and fixing. Are you talented with that kind of work? Do you have weekday availability? If so, we would love to have you “on call” as a Handyperson volunteer! Please email us at email@example.com. Let us know what your skillset is, and we will hope we never need you… but will surely call!
