Teen Decision is seeking to fill volunteer part-time positions throughout the year. Teen Decision is a continuation (now under a separate nonprofit) of a successful program begun over 15 years ago by CareNet DuPage. The Teen Decision program works with public and private schools, as well as churches throughout DuPage County to provide abstinence-based, healthy relationships education to over 8,000 middle and high school students every year. We are seeking passionate individuals for (very) part-time Educator positions, as well as a blog writer, and office-type help (which you can do from your home at your convenience). For speakers, hours per week vary but when we need you, you’d be speaking 3-5 days in a row in a school, 1 to 4 hours per day. You could speak as little as once a month, or more if you want. We do reimburse driving expenses. Educators work during the school year, so we never even ask you to work holidays. Effective communication skills are required, and an ability to connect with teens. If interested in volunteering as a speaker or behind the scenes, please contact Tori at email@example.com. You can also find out more about us by going teendecision.org.
